We have four modern operating rooms where venous procedures are performed skillfully under local anesthesia. In addition, the Centre features  a Wound Expertise Centre and compression  stocking specialists.

Injections with foam, created by mixing the liquid drug with air, is highly effective in treating recurrent varicose veins that are not suitable for operative treatment like endovascular laser ablation or by high ligation and stripping.

The VenaSeal Sapheon Closure System is a unique, minimally invasive treatment that uses a safe-for-the-body medical glue to quickly and effectively treat venous reflux disease.

Sclerotherapy destroys the inner lining of the varicose vein. It is an effective treatment for side branches or small varicose veins.

Very tiny varicose veins can be treated with very small needles. The cosmetic results are good but treatment has to be repeated after one or two years because the disease is progressive.

Sometimes there is a problem with deep veins. The valves don’t close adequately or the transport of the blood is hindered by narrowed veins for example after deep vein thrombosis.

Endovenous laser therapy (EVLT) is a short, minimally-invasive alternative to more invasive vein stripping procedures. This procedure is performed under local anesthesia. It treats the underlying source for varicose veins.
